Google Trends is a very handy tool which lets you tap into Google’s database of searches and allows you to chart what has been popular over a period of time. The tool allows you to search for a search term and see how it has performed over a period of time. Anything from the last 30 days back to when records began, which for Google it seems was 2004.

This tool is best used for multiple search terms so you can see how for example the number of searches for Barack Obama compared to the number of searches for Hilary Clinton over the last few years. It even offers links to news items when there is a spike in the results. Pretty cool.

What Google Zeitgeist does (zeitgeist meaning: the cultural, moral climate of the time,) is chart the global search trends for the last few years. The ‘year-end zeitgeist’ section offers the following as the top gaining searched terms for these years.

So what do these results tell us about the ‘climate of our times’? Well unsurprisingly the focus of 2001 was about 911 and our collective fate as humanity, such a huge global event had everyone searching. 2002-2004 appears to have seen the world collapse into celebrity and consumer entertainment troughs with pop females being a feature.

Social networking began in 2005 and has featured every year since and has shown the Facebook revolution take hold. For some it may be surprising to see Tuenti and Badoo up there. Aside from social networking taking root, the Olympics and the World Cup get in there, as well as the iPhone and two well known celebrities who both died in different ways. Trending information that runs deeper than this can be extremely useful for SEO tips and can often be frequented by budget website owners looking to provide popular content for their sites.

This along with Google Trends is a fun and informative resource for us to check out what topics are in the global mind’s eye. You can also see what terms have diminished in search popularity and search by region too if you want so you can see how many people search for Barack Obama compared to those that searched for Michael Jackson in Australia in 2009.

The free Ares download has become a very popular way to get unlimited access to a large library of resources over the course of the last several years. However, despite the fact that this decentralized, peer-to-peer file sharing program boasts over 100 million music, movie, image and application files, it is not without its limitations.

If you have installed the free Ares download and now wish to remove it, either because it does not work properly on your computer or you simply prefer to use a different file-sharing client, don’t worry. Removing the program is simple and can be done in three different ways.

Removing the Free Ares Download Via the “Add/Remove Programs” Function

If you are not familiar with the “Add/Remove Programs” function of your computer, you should be. It is one of the simplest ways to remove programs from your hard drive, regardless of the reason you may want to dispose of them.

•    To find this function, go to the Control Panel section of your computer. Generally, the Control Panel will be listed on your Start Menu, but if it is not, you can simply do a search for it to discover its location on your hard drive.

•    Once in the Control Panel, go to the “Add/Remove Programs” icon. When this screen opens, you’ll see several options along the left-hand side.

•    Choose the button that says “Change or Remove Programs.” This will bring up a list of programs on your computer.

•    Select the free Ares download and hit “Remove.”

Alternately, you can access “Add/Remove Programs” by going into “My Computer” and selecting the function from the list on the left-hand side of the screen under “System Tasks.”

Another way to remove the free Ares download, or any other program, is to simply go into your “Program Files” folder (Found in the “C” Drive under “My Computer”), look for the Ares folder and delete it by either dragging it to the trash can or right-clicking and selecting “Delete.”

Last but not least, you can remove the free Ares download within the program itself. Simply go to your “Start Menu,” select “Programs,” find where Ares is listed and you will see an uninstall link included with the file. Click this to tell the free Ares download to remove itself.

Some things are just better with music behind them. For instance, I like to dance when I have music in the background, and I love to jog when I have something to jog along with. So, when I go for a stroll, I love to have my music, but I don’t love it when I’ve heard the same songs over and over.

So, to put an end to that, I went to download Ares–a place that one of my fellow joggers recommended to me. I could hardly believe what she told me and so, being skeptical, I went and checked it out for myself.

She was right. Ares has free unlimited downloads. I was, at first, afraid to download anything because I love it when things go fast. I didn’t want to be stuck with slow downloads and I really didn’t want my computer to slow down either. I then just sucked it up and dived right in. It was certain, now, that I finally found the right place to get free and fast downloads. The quality of the files was great, too. Never once have I found a poor quality file. All of my downloads have been legitimate and I haven’t found any spyware on my computer. I can also share my songs with other people who use Ares.

Walk, Dance, Move with Your Favorite Music

Some of us like to hike, walk, jog, climb, and do all sorts of other sports that get us into shape, and we love to listen to the music that gets us going or pumped up to get ready to go. Or some of us just simply love to enjoy the simple splendors of driving, cleaning, dancing around the house, and singing with our favorite artists joining along the way.  

We don’t like, however, when our music comes to a stop because we can’t find the right place to get free downloads. Ares has solved those problems, and I pass on the word to other fellow joggers. It really is the best and it is my number one source for all of my downloads. I’m no longer stuck with the same songs or poor files. I have the best since I was told to download Ares.
