Guys, I just proposed to my girlfriend last night; and let me tell you, it wasn’t easy. Actually, the proposal wasn’t bad: I got on my knee, I gave her my speech and asked the question. She said yes, and the rest is history. The hard part was finding the ring.

Searching through a sea of wedding rings and wedding ring sets is enough to drive any guy insane. There are so many choices, and as a guy, I’m not trained to notice the tiny differences between rings, bands and diamonds. To me, a ring is a ring. I also know if I said that to my fiancée, she would look at me like I had three heads. See guys, women don’t think of rings like we do. To them, the ring is what the engagement is all about. That’s why I knew I had to find the perfect ring before I could even think about proposing.

I started my search like every other clueless guy: I went to the mall, and starting looking at the jewelry stores there. After hours of shopping, countless mall trips and several headaches I came to the conclusion that the jewelry stores in the mall all offered rings that looked identical to each other. None of the rings I saw stood out enough to make an impression.

I was starting to get discouraged, so I opened up my shopping experience to the internet. I found the website for Osborne’s Jewelers and was blown away. Now, as you know, for me to be blown away by a jewelry website isn’t easy. I’ve done the shopping, comparing and research; but nothing compared to the selection of wedding rings and wedding ring sets I found at Osborne’s.

Once I started searching, I could feel the weight start to lift from my shoulders. I know my fiancée, and I know that she would want our wedding rings to coordinate in some way. So, I started searching through the collection of matching bridal sets. The only problem I ran into was choosing one; they were all unique and beautiful. I knew she would love them, I just had to narrow my top three favorites down to a winner.

After getting input from my mother, sister, future sister-in-law and her best friend, I was finally able to decide on the ring. My days of sifting through wedding ring sets, matching bridal sets, wedding bands and engagement rings were done! I had everything I needed to pop the question. All that was missing was the opportunity to spend the rest of my life with the girl of my dreams, but not for long.

More than 350 people from around the country have converged for an in-depth look at comprehensive community development. The two-day event, held July 21-22 at the Washington Court Hotel in Washington, D.C., addressed place-based work through the lens of the White House Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative.

Speakers from the White House and U.S. Department of Education, community experts, and local practitioners discussed evidence-based, integrated program design; sustainability; managing collaborations with accountability; and racial equity.

Goldberg called for the U.S. Congress to make a meaningful commitment to neighborhood revitalization. “We need for Congress to assure us that these new efforts—which we heartily commend—are not ‘here today, gone tomorrow’ victims of ideological warfare, or will simply become marginalized efforts sacrificed at budget cutting before they even begin to show the promise they truly embody,” he said.

Goldberg’s remarks at the UNCA event captured the conviction that, in order for comprehensive neighborhood revitalization to have its best chances for success, nonprofit, multi-service organizations are going to need funders—public and philanthropic—who are driven by a powerful vision of what’s possible, as well as what we can achieve, rather than a division of focus and a derision of best efforts in uncharted waters.

“We need funding sources that are comprehensive in their approach, rather than mired in silos as in the past,” he commented.

I have a computer that is able to burn cds and dvds my problem is finding something to open it up and hit burn. If you dont understand Ill try to explain. When using musicmatch jukebox your music is there opened already you add them to the playlist and hit the burn button. Thats a pretty simple thing lol now wheres the place I can open up the downloaded movie and burn it to a dvd-r?

Ares is different from other p2p clients cos it does not use the gnutella network..as far as i know.
will downloading a download accelerator improve the speed of torrent download in Ares as well?

ares is peer to peer networking software…. Unless there are enough source you cannot have a good speed.. Try Downloading the same file from a http or ftp server using Download Accelerator Plus or FlashGET or Internet Download manger
