Gold Buyers Express at National Religious Broadcasters in Nashville to Offer Non-Profits Funding-Raising Options for Their Donor Base – http://GoldBuyersExpress.com

Tulsa-based Gold Buyers Express will be at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention in Nashville to showcase to the Non-Profit Community the value of gold fund-raising

Tulsa, OK (PRWEB) February 18, 2012

This current economy has left many charitable organizations suffering. They find themselves cutting back on services, salaries and more. Many have had to lay off employees and limit the number of benefits they once provided. Many organizations are finding the advantage in offering gold fundraising parties as a way to help their members get a valuable tax-deduction while helping the non-profit at the same time.

Gold giving is becoming an increasingly popular way to raise money for charities due to two major factors. First, gold has risen to an all time record high. Additionally, our economy entered into a recession not unlike what we experienced during the great depression with banks failing and high unemployment. Donors find themselves wanting to give, but the dollars are just not there as they once were. Our program gives charitable organizations a unique opportunity to raise money even during slow economic times.

Using gold to raise money is as natural as any “In Kind” giving program. Organizations receive cars, boats and other valuable items for donations and then convert them to cash by selling them. The difference with gold into cash fundraising is: there is always a market-gold always has value and is in constant demand. Currently, gold is at an all time record high. It’s easy, effective and donor friendly.

Contact Gary Murphy at Gold Buyers Express for more information about the GBX fundraising program for your ministry, church or non-profit. GoldBuyersExpress.com

American Association of Poison Control Centers Joins Office of National Drug Control Policy Working Group in Addressing Dangers of Synthetic Drugs

Alexandria, Va. (PRWEB) February 16, 2012

The American Association of Poison Control Centers today joined a working group convened by the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy to address the dangers of synthetic drugs, according to Debbie Carr, AAPCC executive director.

At the meeting, Carr and Mark Ryan, director of the Louisiana Poison Center, provided information about the the epidemic of synthetic drugs from the poison center perspective, as well as data concerning the number of calls to poison centers about bath salts and synthetic marijuana.

“These substances are among the worst poison centers have ever seen,” Ryan said. “The psychosis seen in some users is truly remarkable, in a very scary way. People high on these drugs have done some bizarre things to themselves and hurt others around them. It’s important that parents and young people understand just how dangerous these synthetic drugs are.”

The medical experts at the America’s 57 poison centers first raised the alarm about synthetic marijuana in 2009 and bath salts in 2010 after they started receiving calls about people having serious, life-threatening reactions to the substances. In 2010, poison centers nationwide responded to 3,200 calls related to synthetic drugs. In 2011, that number jumped to more than 13,000 calls. Sixty percent of the cases involved patients 25 and younger.

“The AAPCC is pleased to support the Office of National Drug Control Policy as it works to coordinate efforts to address the growing epidemic of synthetic drug abuse across the nation and ensure that these life-threatening drugs are off our streets,” Carr said. “Spice, bath salts and the other synthetic drugs now in use are causing irreversible harm and death in this country. America’s poison centers are ready to assist ONDCP in any way we can to stop the use of these dangerous products.”

For more information, the media may contact Loreeta Canton, communications manager, American Association of Poison Control Centers, at 703.894.1863 or canton(at)aapcc(dot)org or Brett Schuster, communications assistant, at 703.894.1859 or schuster(at)aapcc(dot)org.

The AAPCC supports the nation’s 57 poison centers in their efforts to treat and prevent drug, consumer product, animal, environmental and food poisoning. Members staff the Poison Help hotline at 1-800-222-1222 that provides free, confidential, expert medical advice 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year from toxicology specialists, including nurses, pharmacists, physicians and poison information providers. In addition, the AAPCC maintains the only poison information and surveillance database in the United States, providing real-time monitoring of unusual poisoning patterns, chemical exposures and other emerging public health hazards. The AAPCC partners with federal agencies such as EPA, HRSA and the CDC, as well as private industry.

Who Are The Big Names In Coffee Industry?

Published by Ares under Ares

Article by Steven Talley

Founded in Seattle, Starbucks now has locations everywhere in the US as well like seemingly almost everywhere else on the earth. With locations on every continent aside from Antarctica, Starbucks single-handedly leads the. The chain began being a just one coffee shop, but now operates a unique large scale roasting surgery, with its coffees available in grocery stores in many countries as well as at their coffee go shopping locations. Costa Coffee is often a UK based chain based by two brothers coming from Italy who created his or her slow roasted, full flavored blend which they call mocha Italia. The Costa Coffee brand experience will depend on the “Italianness” of the actual company’s coffee, an idea which extends over the decor of Costa’s coffee shops and also the flavor of the unit itself. Of course, there are lots of who would say that Costa was designed to appeal to the tends to be of British, not Italian consumers and it’s no more Italian when compared to Papa John’s. However, it’s undeniable that Costa is amongst the UK’s most popular coffee shop chains. Caffe Nero is a second UK based coffee chain which contains recently begun to develop internationally with new locations in Turkey as well as UAE. These companies are are just some of the multinational coffee bangles, with much of the global market which includes local and national chains including Scotland’s Beanscene, Caf?? Trieste in the states and Barista and Caf?? Coffee Day in India. Even though these commonly are not global players on the scale represented by Starbucks, these companies emphasize quality for you to help gain a dominant share for the market in their locale. .Follow TV From My ComputerHave you ever considered to yourself “It sure will be nice to watch TV from my computer” Properly, it’s not the province of your super rich or mega nerds anymore. In fact watching TV on your computer system is becoming more main stream everyday. Some, including software giant Microsoft feel is it doesn’t wave of the potential future. They’ve actually staked an important part of their future on this. Their new Vista os in this handset has features designed specifically to enable such a functionality. That’s great, but where would you get the content? I am talking about, you just can’t have a huge number of channels pumped into your computer straight on the internet, can you? Well, actually it is easy to. There are really a few the way to get TV on your laptop computer. You can buy a good TV tuner card. This basically turns your personal computer into a high mechanic VCR or personal video recording recorder (PVR – assume TiVO) device. That’s pretty darn cool, but there is a couple of downsides into the approach. First of most of, as was pointed outside earlier, there is a new content question. Where on earth do you get it? With the tv tuner card method, you’re tied to what is available accompanied by a terrestrial antenna, or you can hook up basic cable service. Anything beyond basic cable won’t work that way, because the content is encrypted by your cable provider. You need their exclusive cable box to decode the really cool channels, or give per view events.

Are Multi-Level-Marketing Companies Ripping You Off?

Published by Ares under Ares

Article by Alan Quan

You have probably witnessed major MLM distributors driving around in their Ferraris, living in huge palaces, and live seemingly perfect lives. Most people generally make the assumption that these big time distributors must be making all their money by selling millions of dollars of products to their downline. But in reality a lot of these MLM distributors make their big bucks elsewhere…

Although a lot of MLM companies are are legit because they have an actual product to sell, there is a dark side to the MLM industry that you will never hear about when attending one of their business opportunity conventions.

This is the hidden side business that the overly excited recruiter will never tell you about. They never mention that there is a second business hidden within distributing physical products itself.

The secret second business in a lot of multi-level-marketing is selling hope and motivation through information products. Information products are products like motivational tapes, CDs, quarterly business seminars, monthly website fees, DVDs, etc.

There have been some well publicized cases in which high level distributors have been found to make up to seventy percent of their income from selling these information products such as tapes, books, seminars, etc., and NOT the vitamins, soap, make-up, etc. itself!

The fact is, you can get much of the same recycled motivational materials for a fraction of the cost at any website. No wonder a lot of these MLM companies absolutely insist that people you recruit must buy these info products in order to increase their chances of success.

I’m sick and tired of these MLM companies being deceptive to their distributors and giving them false hope by brainwashing them to listen to those useless motivational tapes

Although there have been no formal investigations on how much the big MLM distributors make from selling information, we can only estimate their profits by the price of each tape being sold multiplied by thousands of distributors per month.

Selling information is big business. And after being in the information business for about a year now, I realized how much money these big time MLM distributors are ripping us off and profiting BIG by focusing on selling these less-than-worthless tapes and business meetings instead of selling the actual products themselves

So if you you see that your upline is shoving those motivational tapes down your throat insisting that it is absolutely crucial to your success, you may want to take a step back and decide for yourself if they really want you to buy the motivational CDs for your own success, or for your uplines own profits!

Are Luxury Dog Beds Worth The Price?

Published by Ares under Ares

Article by James Williams

If you own a dog, you have probably wondered about this. Are luxury dog beds worth the price? Do not obsess over this question when shopping. You will find in your search for the best dog bed that the term luxury dog bed is used very loosely. One shop owner may refer to their dog pet beds luxurious and another may consider ,000 to be at the low end of luxury. Therefore, some better questions to ask yourself before investing in a dog bed is, “What is the definition of luxury?” or “What is luxury to my dog?”Defining luxury can be tougher than you think because we are programmed through advertisements to think of luxury as top of the line or designer labels. Remember that cost does not define luxury when it comes to dog beds. Each manufacturer gets their basic materials to create the beds from different suppliers who charge different of prices. Many things influence pricing including volume discounts. rather than questioning your selection of dog beds, follow your own instincts. Some dogs, like big fluffy ball beds others like very flat beds while still others like a sofa bed with edges to snuggle against.Only you know your dog’s likes and dislikes. If your dog tends to lean against something to sleep, then he may like a sofa dog bed or a bolster dog bed (a bed with raised sides). A dog that is used to resting on a solid surface may not be comfortable in a big pillowy bed that many dog owners would call luxurious. It is almost impossible to listen to other dog owner on dog beds because every pet and every owner has different needs and style.Don’t try and keep up with the neighbors when choosing such an important item for your dog. A luxury dog bed can only be determined by your definitions for your dog. The one thing that is crucial when choosing your companion’s resting spot is the bed dimensions. Be sure that your dog will fit on the bed you choose. Dog Beds are are available in all shapes, sizes and fabrics. You should have no problem finding a quality selection of luxury dog beds for your beloved dog to rest comfortably in luxury.
