I have restored my computer recently and redownloaded Ares but can’t download anything (free). What other safe sites (besides Limewire) can I get music, etc downloads from?

Question by green’s.the.colour: Why is it that when i download a video from Ares, I only hear the audio and the screen is black?
What do i need to do to see the video and not just hear the audio? For those of you who don’t know what Ares is, you shouldn’t be answering this but it’s a program just like Limewire but better.

You need the proper codec to watch the video. If your using windows media player I would switch from that to VLC. VLC can watch a ton of videos with out extra codecs.

I read about ares , being the god of war , son of ares but i dont know how kratos fits in all of this ? A friend told me he was zeus’s son but i think he got that from a video game

About a month ago i really wanted to play aires but I learned that it was shut down and now I miss it.

Maybe you might like Shaiya. i played it for a while and i rather liked it, though i returned to WoW afterward. It’s a great game, regardless, and you said free to play, so WoW’s out.

there’s also a bunch of other games by the creators of Shaiya, free to play, that you might like as well.
