Whomever owns the rights can distribute. If they upload without owning the rights, and you distribute, you can go to jail. If they upload and release their rights you can distribute them. But they had to own the music (not a copy). Original artists only.

128kbps sounds choppy, it’s OK if you just want to listen to it as background music. 320kbps obviously takes up more room on whatever device you are using, but that is because there is more audio information contained, and for those with a more attuned ear, that is more important.
Still LAME encoding is still rubbish, it rips the guts out of sound.

You need the proper codec to watch the video. If your using windows media player I would switch from that to VLC. VLC can watch a ton of videos with out extra codecs.

I am looking for recommendations for a new Ares mp3 Download player that does not require software to transfer music. I do not want to use iTunes or Windows Media Player. I do not want to use playlists, rate my music, or any other functions. I do not want to use music with digital rights management.
