Question by nice guy: Do mp3 files played on an Apple iPod sound different from a song purchased from iTunes?
Is the sound quality of an mp3 file played on an Apple iPod inferior to that of a song thats actually purchased from iTunes? Do iTunes songs sound a hell lot better than mp3 songs?

It depends on the qualitly of the mp3 song, if you know how to get good quality songs then no it sounds pretty much exctly the same:)

Ares? There’s a name I haven;t heard since Kazaa!!

Anyway – iTunes will accept any non-DRM protected music in mp3 form.

First make sure “manually manage songs and videos” is checked on your ipod summary page. Then you should be able to click and drag songs from your library on iTunes right onto the part on the column (to the left on the screen) where your iPod is displayed, therefore adding the songs onto your iPod.

Also if you need to add songs to iTunes from your computer all you need to do is click File then click Add File to Library then select the file that you want to add, and it should appear in your iTunes library.

i have the same problem with that. i just made a new playlist on my ipod that says “Music Videos” and put them in there. its still goes to the movies folder but if you go to view all or watever you will see the new playlist you made in there.

i dont know if that will help you. but good luck with that.
