Online Novelties Retailer Danna Bananas Adds New Novelty Products

Toronto, Ontario (PRWEB) April 24, 2012

Offering something fun for everyone, well-known Canadian novelties retailer Danna Bananas (http://www.dannabananas.com) has added new and extremely unique merchandise to the virtual shelves of their popular online novelty gift shop. Like all the products that Danna Bananas carries, these fun new novelty items, including gag gifts, joke items, wacky games, toys and gadgets, have been selected because they are entertaining and unusual – products such as the Titanic Bathtub Plug. Just in time to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, the Titanic Bathtub Plug, a novelty bath plug in the shape of the ship, turns bath time into an epic adventure and is a low priced gift suitable for anyone on your list. This and the other new novelty products now available online are ideal for many of those hard-to-buy-for gift-giving occasions, like Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and thank you gifts for educators on the last day of school.

Another remarkable product that has just arrived at Danna Bananas is the H2EAU Carafe and Glass, a novel new item that is both stylish and practical. It’s a combination bedside water glass and carafe that creates an optical illusion of a magician’s stack of plastic cups. Made from sparkling borosilicate glass, it would make a terrific hostess gift or Mother’s Day gift. Two other great Mother’s Day gifts are the God Save the Queen Tea Egg, a fun tea infuser in celebration of the Diamond Jubilee, and the Mini Disco Ball Speaker and Keychain, an incredible mini speaker for Mom’s MP3 player on a jazzy keychain.

For Father’s Day, Danna Bananas has included some truly wacky items, like the Winestein Beer & Wine Mug, a beer mug with a wineglass inside, and the BBQ Sword, a fun novelty barbeque tool, shaped like a sword, that comes with a bonus Musketeer mask. For the ultimate Father’s Day gag gift, the Bacon Tie, a necktie that appears to be made of bacon, would be a fabulous choice for the Dad who appreciates a good laugh. Other great Father’s Day gifts are the Alt. Golf Mug, the Rubik’s Cube Speaker, and the Duct Tape Coffee Mug.

Danna Banana’s has also included some great gift ideas for teachers’ gifts, as well as gifts for the crossing guard, the school bus driver, the teaching assistant, the school secretary, and the school principal too. The funky Retro Pencil Touch Screen Stylus is a fun gift that would be appreciated by anyone, as would the I Am Not A Paper Cup, a ceramic mug that looks just like a disposable paper coffee cup. The Robot Calculator, a really cute little gizmo is a working calculator, night light and paperclip holder, and who wouldn’t want to receive a Heart Shaped Tea Infuser, a thoughtful and practical present.

“Gift buying does not have to be a dreaded chore, if you shop online,” claims Danna Wilson, owner of Danna Banana’s. “Customers often tell me that until they started using my online store, they found shopping for those hard to buy for gifts, especially teacher’s gifts, an experience they could do without. For one thing, shopping at the mall is time consuming and most people don’t want to spend hours hunting down the perfect gift. It can also be expensive. Most parents need to buy several gifts for their children to hand out at the end of the year school. This is why we have included many gift items that are under $ 10,” says Wilson.

About Danna Bananas: A fun online novelty store that features the very latest and most unusual gifts for every occasion, Danna Bananas is “The wackiest little gift shop on the web.” Danna Bananas searches the world to bring to their online novelty store the most unusual children’s toys, gag and joke items, fun games, and the strangest kitsch to be found anywhere. For unique teacher’s gifts, Mother’s Day gifts, Father’s Day gifts, birthday gifts, and novelty items for any occasion, shop with confidence using Danna Bananas’ secure online ordering system. Danna Bananas’ offers excellent customer service, speedy delivery, and a100% customer satisfaction guarantee. With Danna Bananas, finding the perfect gift has never been so easy and so much fun. A visit to the website http://www.DannaBananas.com is sure to put a smile on your face.

Ocoos Partners with University of Florida to Highlight Services Sector On-line

Ocoos.com

Gainesville, Fl (PRWEB) April 04, 2012

Today, Ocoos, a technology start-up company focused on promoting Internet commercial applications, announces a series of relationships with the University of Florida (UF). The key relationships are:

1. UF and Ocoos have executed an exclusive licensing agreement for a UF patent on “probabilistic products.” Probabilistic Products was developed by Dr. Jinhong Xie, Etheridge Professor of International Business, at the Warrington College of Business Administration.

2. Dr. Xie has joined the board of advisers to the CEO at Ocoos.

3. Two graduates from the UF Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation’s Thomas S. Johnson Entrepreneurship Master’s Program (Daniel Sosa and Ryan McCabe) are founders of Ocoos.

“The Warrington College of Business Administration is one of the gems in the state of Florida. With top-tier programs for Marketing as well as Entrepreneurship, the school is an excellent partner for any company who wants to tap leading edge researchers as well as top-tier students as employees.) Our company wants to build a capability which can ‘supercharge’ the small services sector and lead to material reduction in unemployment. We are delighted with the excellent partnership we have developed with the Warrington school,” said Dr. Rahul Razdan, CEO of Ocoos.

Featuring a specialized Internet platform technology, Ocoos is currently working to create a seamless, information rich connection between consumers, service providers, and subject matter experts in a structured, relevant, and trusted manner. Much in the way Amazon.com makes it easy for customers to search for and buy specific “products” on-line, Ocoos aims to facilitate the ease in which people can search for and buy “services” over the Internet.

The initial target of Ocoos is to organize and highlight online the adventure tourism market in Florida. Making more efficient the process of searching the Internet for a particular type of service (e.g., adventure tourism activities in Florida), Ocoos offers providers the ability to market their services to a wider consumer audience, thus generating increased bookings and sales. Consumers, in turn, gain access to an expedient, targeted, and deep search of only those topics of interest—in a fashion inspiring confidence.

“Ocoos is a very interesting company which has the potential to efficiently connect the vast distance between buyers and small service providers using internet technology and innovative business models. If successful, the impact can be large for economies with a large services sector such as in the State of Florida. We are delighted to partner with Ocoos at multiple levels, and contribute to the economic vitality of the state of Florida” said John Kraft, Dean of the Warrington College of Business Administration.

About Ocoos:

Established in 2011 from a spin-off technology born at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Ocoos brings coherence to the Internet by connecting consumers, subject matter experts, and service providers in a structured platform. For more information, please visit http://www.ocoos.com.

New Video From ChiroBullets.com Reveals How to Make a Daily Online Newsletter for Chiropractic Patients & Why It Is An Effective Chiropractic Marketing Strategy

Chiropractic Marketing Consultant Ben Cummings

Rochester, NY (PRWEB) January 19, 2012

Ben Cummings is founder of Practice Building Center, the web’s largest chiropractic marketing forum and training site containing over 300 tutorial videos and downloads.

In his popular chiropractic marketing blog, ChiroBullets.com, Ben Cummings has just released an article containing a detailed video tutorial teaching chiropractors how to create a daily online newsletter.

Chiropractors can access the new video tutorial here:

http://blog.practicebuildingcenter.com/how-to-create-a-daily-online-newsletter-for-patients/

In the latest edition of ChiroBullets.com, Ben Cummings has tackled the subject of online newsletter creation and discusses how valuable it can be for chiropractic marketers.

What is a daily online newsletter? “Today’s patients are looking for their doctor to be a leading voice, an expert, in their community,” says Ben Cummings.

“When a chiropractor creates an online newsletter that contains useful health news and daily articles, this is very impressive to patients as well as prospective patients,” says Ben.

The daily newsletter for chiropractic patients that Ben Cummings recommends is a “curation blog.” Ben asserts that a curation blog is easy to set up and manage since it aggregates information and articles that have already been written.

In his new blog article, Ben details how to create one of these curation blogs. “They cost nothing to start and I even share a free host that you can use plus the setup takes less than 10 minutes,” says Ben. “This is what I show on the video tutorial that I made.”

Ben says that once you set up your curation blog, it will run on its own and will generate high quality content without the need for a chiropractors input.

How should a chiropractor promote the online newsletter that they create? After the setup of the daily newsletter, promotion of the blog can be as simple as a signature at the bottom of all your outbound emails and a Facebook Fan page to drive new readers to your site. An additional step for those who are interested in fully maximizing traffic to their new curation site, is to also make use use Twitter and email to proactively drive patients and leads to the site.

The chiropractic marketing strategies outlined in the newest blog entry from Ben Cummings “are free to utilize but highly effective” says Ben. Mr. Cummings used this strategy to create a sample daily newsletter and shows the process on a video on the blog.

Where can a chiropractor learn more? Chiropractors can subscribe to ChiroBullets for free. They should visit Ben’s chiropractic marketing blog at ChiroBullets.com. Ben says, “There is no cost to participate in the excellent articles and tutorials being shared on the ChiroBullets.com blog. Chiropractors will be impressed by the quality of our tutorials.”

Ben thinks this is important information for chiropractors, and asks chiropractors to Like his Page on Facebook to learn exclusive tips and tricks. “I’d appreciate your help in spreading the word amongst chiropractors,” says Ben Cummings.

Asia – the hidden gem. Why online gaming companies are are struggling to break into this market.

Published by Ares under Ares

Article by D Bernard

With the European online gaming markets becoming increasingly more competitive, the Asian market has been touted as the next opportunity for growth for a number of the world’s major online gaming companies. However, progress in breaking into this market has been painfully slow. Cultural differences for the West have been blamed by many analysts, yet the real reasons why online gaming companies are struggling are far simpler.

Legislation makes the online gaming illegal in a number of Asian countries. Hopes that Asian governments would liberalise their attitude towards online gaming have proved to be unfounded. Despite difficulties faced by online operators, traditional land based gaming organisations have continued to expand, with a number of giant Super Casinos having opened in the last twelve months. With legal obstacles to overcome, many online gaming operators are finding it difficult to open offices in Asian cities, yet alone gain any form of foothold in the Asian market.

National firewalls in many Asian countries are deliberately restricting access to online gaming sites. Online gaming operators with well recognised brands are hardly known within some Asian countries. Attempts by operators to actively attract Asian customers have been immediately blocked by changes to national firewalls.

Payment mechanisms are central to the operational efficiency of any online operator. If a customer can’t deposit at the online gaming site of their choice, then they won’t be able to play. Whilst there is a plethora of payment mechanisms available to European and American markets, there is a limited choice available to the Asian markets. Even leading edge companies with sophisticated payment mechanisms such as William Hill and PKR.com face challenges with payment processes.

Online gaming operators therefore continue to face a number of hurdles in order to break into the Asian online gaming market. Legislation is often against them, while national firewalls are overly harsh. Even when gaming operators can overcome the first two hurdles, they are then faced with difficulties in finding suitable payment mechanisms that allow online transactions. The Asian market is definitely a growth area for online gaming operators, yet experience to date has indicated that the ‘red carpet’ treatment is some time off. What is obvious is that it’s not the online gaming operators that are calling the shots

Now Online: Fresh Information About All Things Dairy

Orlando, Fla. (PRWEB) August 30, 2011

Florida Dairy Farmers (FDF) launched its new website last week – http://www.floridamilk.com – offering more interactive and consumer-focused content. Site visitors can learn more about the health benefits of dairy’s nine essential nutrients and the Florida dairy farmers who work hard every day to produce one of nature’s most perfect foods for the state’s nearly 19 million residents.

Among the features of the new website are:

Dairy recipes and dairy food facts
Podcast videos of dairy farmers talking about farm practices and sharing their passion directly with consumers
Kids section with downloadable coloring pages, resource kits and games
Information for sports enthusiasts about the benefits of chocolate milk as a recovery drink
Downloadable patient education tools for health professionals

To help consumers stay connected with FDF and Florida agriculture, the new site also integrates social media with a live Facebook feed. Another feature of the new site is the ability to sign up for any of FDF’s five electronic newsletters.

The new site has a more agriculture-based theme. Statistics from FDF’s previous site showed that the “Dairy Farming” page brought in the highest amount of traffic, demonstrating consumer interest in learning more about where their food comes from and the people who produce it. Equally important on the site is the Dairy Council of Florida’s information regarding dairy foods. For families and consumers, the new site features a more robust “Dairy Foods” section containing information on the importance of including dairy in a regular diet.

“Dairy is such an important part of a nutrient-rich diet and Florida’s dairy farmers have an amazing story to tell,” said Aaron Wockenfuss, manager of consumer communications for Florida Dairy Farmers. “Because most people are three to four generations removed from the farm, we are excited to share with them information on where their food comes from and the farm practices that take place every day on dairy farms right here in Florida, and all around the country.”

About Florida Dairy Farmers

Florida Dairy Farmers is a farmer-funded organization that works to educate people about the state’s dairy farming industry and promote nutrient-rich dairy foods as an important part of a healthy lifestyle. FDF is one of 19 member organizations of the United Dairy Industry Association and carries out the programs of Dairy Management Inc., the umbrella organization based in Chicago. For more information, call 407-647-8899 or visit http://www.floridamilk.com.
