Question by Legacy: Can anybody tell me how to upload my personal songs onto aires for others to download?
I have my personal music that i want to make available to the world on Ares. How can i do this?

I guess you should check the Ares website. I upload the music of the artist I represent to http://reverbnation.com where users are not only allowed to download but can also have a widget to place on their MySpace page (see the blue widget on this site http://hortense-ellis.com/listen.aspx

Question by Jon: In Ares is it possible to open multiple songs in iTunes at the same time?
I recently moved my Ares folder to a different place in my computer, so I have to re-add everything to iTunes. Is it possible to do multiple “Open External”s at the same time, or do I have to go through and choose every individual song?

Question by WELL R.S.: Everytime i try to play songs on ares music media player, it gives me error. What should I do?
I had Ares earlier so I am quite familiar with this program. I am trying to play mp3 files and i don’t think i need to install divx as some friends suggested me since i have combined communiy codecs package which can open literally anything. Error is read as: Media Error: The source filter for this file couldn’t be located. Thx in advance.

Reinstall the program (WMP) or try to read the Troubleshooting tips, usually works for me. Or maybe get a newer version?

i think the person who recorded the song did that on purpose and is really anooying u cant get a descent song with out getting ruined

A lot of the songs I get off Limewire does that. I don’t know what it is, but it sux. I’m using Utorrent now and downloading from sites like The Pirate Bay and Mininova and I don’t have any problems at all. And you can d/l an entire cd in like 2 minutes or a full movie in 15.

If you make a playlist on ares music and save it , then open windows media player there should be a selection of playlists on the side and all the songs should be there!

I have found some songs that I like from Limewire and Ares Galaxy but they are protected and I can’t listen to them or put them on itunes, so its there a software out there that can make me listen to this protected songs so I can record them from my speakers??

Why bother. Try to do another search for them on limewire and download the same songs without a licence. That’ll work for you. faster and less work.

i’ve never used ares music before but it was recommended to me so i gave it a try. i have no idea how to get my music onto my zune. help!

1) Go to the settings within the Zune player (top right if updated).

2) Select connections (I believe)… it is on the left and close to the top of the list.

3) Under the “music folders” connected, choose to add a folder; this being the ares music music folder.

4) Click apply and then OK.

5) Exit out of the program; and then start it back up.

I’ve downloaded about 420 songs from ARES. I need to completely wipe my system clean and add all the programs back to my computer once it’s been cleaned out.

What is the fastest and economical way to save all my ARES songs so that I can send them back to my computer?

get a 2g flash drive, put ur songs in there, wipe ur comp and put the songs back in

Question by Yuru: I restored my computer and it erased Ares i had a lot of songs.Anyway i can get it back with all the songs?
I recently downloaded Ares 2.0.9 and a few days later i was having problems with the sound a friend told me i could restore my computer to get the sound back(system restore),so i did the sound came back but i think Ares was erased.Is there anyway i could get it back with all the songs included?I had downloaded about 80 songs.Or do i have to download Ares again?

System restore should not erase your music. The files should still be where ever Ares saved them. (unless you mean you did a full reinstall of windows, Then yes they are gone)
